"The Magic of Computer Graphics: Rendering" will be published from AK Peters
An excellent book, written by Ms. Noriko Kurachi, that introduces the recent progress of computer graphics and the related fields will be published this summer, around the same time as SIGGRAPH 2010. The book includes not only high-quality technical descriptions reviewed by the leading researchers in the world but also the stories of the background and practical use for each technical topic, which makes this book very precious in the research of computer graphics and unique among the world. Therefore, I hereby recommend this book.
